This patient came in for a routine checkup and Dr. Ellis noticed her filling had fallen out. The patient wasn't aware that her filling had come loose, indicating an underlying cavity. It was quite deep, but we proceeded to fill it, and caught it early enough that she was in no pain and it wasn't a complicated fix. After filling it looked like she had a brand new tooth!

Wow, it's remarkable. A patient with a lower left molar came in for a routine exam and reported feeling no pain. Upon examination, Dr. Ellis detected a crack. Dr. Ellis advised the patient that a crown might be necessary. However, upon closer inspection, it turned out that only a filling was needed, saving both money and the tooth!

The main hygienist, Charisma, is awesome—she’s gentle, super thorough, and always tells you what she’s doing so nothing catches you off guard. Going to the dentist is likely not on anyone’s favorite list—I wouldn’t say I was anxious, but not excited. I don’t think I’ve ever had a more thorough, thoughtful dentist visit in my adult life. X-rays were taken - and like many dentists nowadays—the images show up immediately. (Solid Siemens equipment.) I had an opportunity to view the X-rays and ask questions (X-rays for new patients are no charge.) What followed was even better: a small, pen-like fiber-optic camera that took high resolution images of my teeth and gums (latter where my issues are). So instructive — demonstrating when my efforts at cleaning my teeth were falling a little short.
